Events

Race Days: every month all skaters will participate in a “race day” where they will challenge each other to set personal best times. Every time is recorded and the skater who beats their personal best time by the largest margin wins the “PB Cup” or personal best cup for the month, while second and third get ribbons. At the end of the season, the skater who has won the “PB Cup” the most times during the season wins the “PB Award” for the season and receives a small trophy or medal in recognition.

FUN days: The club will host “fun days” where skaters could be dressing up for a Halloween skate, or game days to celebrate Christmas etc. These days are TBA

Family Skate days: up to twice a year the club invites the skater’s friends and family to come out on the ice to play games, race each other and have fun. These days are TBA.

Birthdays: if your child’s birthday falls on a skate day they will be acknowledged with a special race where they get to skate as many laps as they are old, singing, and often treats made by the assistant coach.
